OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Enterprise, an advanced version of its AI assistant, equipped with features to address the security, privacy, and scalability needs of corporate users. It ensures enterprise-grade security and privacy by not using customer prompts and company data for model training, encrypting data at rest (AES 256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), and being certified SOC 2 compliant. The new version facilitates large-scale deployments by providing an admin console for bulk member management, single sign-on (SSO), domain verification, and an analytics dashboard for usage insights.
ChatGPT Enterprise offers unlimited access to GPT-4, higher-speed performance (up to 2x faster), and advanced data analysis capabilities, previously referred to as Code Interpreter. Users can process inputs, files, or follow-ups four times longer with the 32k token context window. It also includes shareable chat templates for collaboration and building common workflows and free API credits for creating custom solutions.
Since its inception nine months ago, ChatGPT has been adopted by over 80% of Fortune 500 companies, leading to a demand for a more secure and tailored solution. Early adopters like Block, Canva, Carlyle, The Estée Lauder Companies, PwC, and Zapier have utilized ChatGPT to enhance communications, speed up coding tasks, address complex business questions, and support creative work.
